Fernanda de Alba

Clinician

Fernanda de Alba, NCC, LCPC is a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish) on staff at SpringSource Psychological Center, with immediate availability to welcome new clients. She works both with individuals and couples using a compassionate, integrative approach grounded in unconditional support and genuine understanding. Her work is deeply informed by psychodynamic, attachment science, relational neuroscience, and the belief that our early experiences shape how we connect, communicate, and care for ourselves and others.

With couples, Fernanda draws from Gottman-informed practices (Levels 1 & 2 training in process) and solution focus, evidence-based communication tools to help partners repair trust, deepen emotional intimacy, and create more secure, supportive relationships. With individuals, she uses trauma-informed frameworks to address anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, and relational patterns, supporting clients as they make sense of their experiences and move toward a steadier, more aware sense of self.

Fernanda’s style blends cognitive restructuring, corrective emotional experiences, and attachment-based interventions to help clients build insight, resilience, and new emotional skills. Whether working in English or Spanish, her intention is to offer a warm, safe space where healing can unfold naturally, one that honors who you’ve been and supports who you’re becoming.
